Dear Dr Komal, I’ve always had problems with my teeth. A few years ago I had braces on my teeth which built my confidence up for a while and i loved to smile. But since i had my filling placed on my 2nd to front tooth and the side of my front tooth started to stain as some dentists say whilst others say its a small amount of decay, i get paranoid that people are looking at it when i smile. And i myself generally dont like to smile anymore. Its practically a dot on the side of my tooth but i feel like it looks awful. I asked my dentist to fix it but he seemed to have made it worse by placing some white fluid over it which just stained and never covered the black dot aswell. I was wondering whether you could do something about it and how much the total cost would be? Thank You

When i smile you can only see the tips of my teeth and i am wondering whether tooth bonding to lengthen my teeth slightly (because some of my teeth are positioned slightly higher than others) would help?

calcium deficiency caused my teeth to rot and break

When i was younger i suffered from a calcium deficiency, where my body didnt absorb calcium easily, and after that my teeth has started to rot and break, i went to the dentist and the replace sum filing etc, now sum feeling have come out, and im considering veneers as im very self conscious about my teeth, would you be able to tell me a rough price of getting veneers?

I am 25 yrs lady. I had an accident and front 3 teeth got fractured .I had root canal done that time (10yrs back ) and teeth bonding done on 2 of the teeth . After 2-3 yrs all the three teeth started getting black. I did’t consult doctor after that .Few days back i went to doc and without checking anything he said that its better u go for Crown. I am not mentally prepared for crown because i don\’t want to grind my teeth. Is it ok if i would go for bonding again or veener ? Doctor says that crown keep the teeth strong.Is it the fact ? What is the problem if i go for Veener? Please suggest me something ..i really don\’t want to go for crown.

I really need to have my teeth done, i am only 28 and the back ones are falling apart, my dentist wont do anything. Its not my fault that they are like this, i had problems and was put on a high dose of clexaine which messed them up. i want to have the porcelain teeth, i am worried about the price, but can pay monthly, i really need some help with having this done, teeth are so important, its the first thing you look at on a person, i am getting depressed over this, please help!!

Hi, i had composite bonding done on my front teeth in the US about 10 years ago. I was biting my nails when part of the bottom of my front tooth came away. My NHS dentist applied a small white filling to the bottom of the tooth but it doesn’t feel right at all. I haven’t eaten anything on the front tooth for 2 weeks now, i’m so worried the filling will break off. Is it safe to add a white filling to a composite bonded tooth. I would like to go to a private dentist to have it fixed properly. Is this allowed, and can I still keep my nhs dentist for general dentistry. Thankyou
