How much would it be to get about 6 crowns and the rest of my teeth whitened, i have also had a crown for 18 years and its really irritating i feel like ripping it out sometimes but my dentist doesn’t want to be bothered with you cause im on the national health service, have you any advice please.

I hit my tooth while weightlifting and chipped it have I damaged my nerve

Hi, I hit my mouth today with a metal bar quite hard while weightlifting and my front tooth is chipped, even worse it has been moved forward slightly and is no longer flush with the rest of my teeth. I am in a state of panic as i am unsure if it can be fixed simply. I havent seen a dentist for over 10 years and im quite worried about the procedure to put it right again. Please could you shed some light on the procedure to help settle my nerves. Is it simply pushed back or is the tooth going to have to be removed. I am not in any pain and the tooth seems healthy, it needs to be corrected by moving it back 1mm or 2. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

My teeth are crooked and and have been quoted £1800 for fixed braces is invisalign cheaper

I’m 17 years old and hate my teeth (their crooked). Wished I would have had braces when younger, been too scared and really don’t want fixed braces at my age, just embarrassed. I was quoted in January for fixed braces by my dentist in London and they would be £1800 and i was wondering how much invisalign would be? Thank you

My dentist says that I do not have enough bone for a dental implant

I have just been informed by my dentist that I may not have enough bone for a dental implant. I’m 38, healthy and active. Should I seek a second opinion or request a CT scan. They have offered to slice the gum open to check for sure. It all sounds a bit vague really. I really want to have the implant as neither the denture or bridge option are satisfactory to me. My dentist has also mentioned a bone graft but suggests because you can see my gum when I smile this will not look very good. Also my bite is very close. Is this a factor in the potential success?

I have a straight small gap in my front teeth

My daughter has an open anterior bite and needs an NHS orthodontist

My daughter is 11 years old with an open anterior bite, she has all adult teeth on the upper arch with just a couple of deciduous teeth left to loose on the lowers, I have not asked for orthodontic treatment on her before now as I did not want to put her through treatment only to have to be repeated with the loss of baby teeth. So now I am looking for an orthodontist, and please dont laugh, I am in need of somebody who would except her on the NHS, I would dearly love for her to recieve orthodontis without the removal of teeth however I feel I will struggle trying to find a NHS dentist, can you please help, advice, anything, We would be very grateful.. my gums are receeding and crowns dropping do i need new crowns

Hello i would like some advice regarding replacing crowns i had 4 crowns fitted about 20 years ago i had no problems with them , but i had new ones fitted about 5 years ago due to receding gums,after about 6 months one of the crowns seemed to be dropping, i was told this was the root of the tooth. it has continued to drop, i changed dentists and was told i should not have been given new crowns as i have a gum disease i would have to have a plate. i have changed dentists again and was told i need new crowns i am worried the tooth will drop again would i be wasting my money on crowns or was the other dentist right and i should have a plate?

I would apreciate some advice as i really dont know what is the right decision to make , i dont want to pay out a lot of money and 6 months down the line be in the same situation. many thanks for your time in replying to my question
