I HAVE QUITE ALOT OF TEETH MISSING. I HAVE AN AXA DENTAL INSURANCE PLAN THAT SAYS IT WOULD COVER IMPLANTS ON THE NHS BUT NOT PRIVATE. DO YOU HOW THIS WORKS AND IF THERE IS AN INSURANCE THAT COVERS THIS. I WOULD PAY UP TO 100 POUNDS A MONTH FOR AN INSURANCE THAT WOULD. THANKS

Hi Dr. Glaister A question about teeth whitening – I was given tetracycline as a child when my permanent dentition was developing, and my teeth are now rather stained. Given that the staining appears to be within the tooth – rather than upon the surface of the enamel – is there any whitening procedure that I could have that would be effective? Many thanks

Would it be possible for me to get veneers on the NHS?

Would it be possible for me to get veneers on the NHS? my mother receives tax exemptions so she gets completely free work. I am a model and so my smile needs to be perfect. My problem is that over time my top teeth and bottom teeth have always ground together and so now all of them are misshaped around the edges with many chips and slightly discoloured.How many would be needed to cover a usual smile?

Hi i need quite alot of work done on my teeth i know i need a minimum of 4 pulled out i don’t want dentures or bridges as i’ve been told that your gum shrinks and the shape of your jaw and face can change so i’m looking to dental implants and i would like to no where i go from hear i live in south shields near newcastle and i would also like to know what sort of cost i would be looking at as i would need a minimum of 6 implants thanks
