how much are veneers? I have two teeth that i would like to have veneers put on. One is stained and one is crooked which comes out more so than the other teeth beside it which means i have trouble smiling in photos with confidence! I was given an estimate foe a 4 unlt bridge but when I went for the permanents to be fitted,the technician had supplied a 3 unit bridge,saying it was a better look.I had to pay for a 4 unit bridge there and then before I left the surgery. When I questioned my dentist later about this,he said he did not know if the technician would make an adjustment on the price till his bill came to the practice. This seems wrong as my estimate was £690 per unit .Not an overall price for the bridge. Please advise!Thank you

Hello, I was wondering if it was possible you could help me out by giving me some advice and giving me an idea on what I’m entitled to. I’m 18 years old but in full time education and I had my braces taken off a year or so ago and was given a retainer, within in the 6 months of having the retainer on my current dentist told me to chuck them out as I no longer needed them? Now two of my bottom teeth have overlapped and one of my top teeth has shifted back a little. I’m aware that now I’m 18 I may have to pay towards it, but hopefully not £2000+ as not much work is needed to be done. I was wondering if you could tell me how much it is going to cost me? And if I am entitled to any discounts of any sort due to still being in education.

Hi, I think I have “loose” teeth syndrome and have lost quite a few teeth over the years, so all of my top front teeth are crowned, one is actually loose now. I was told that because I have “loose” teeth, my options are limited- is this true?

Once a year I bleach my front teeth with “Crest Whitestrips Supreme” (14% Hydrogen peroxide)
Recently, about 2 weeks ago I began to start my annual 3 week course of whitening.
At first it seemed to be oxidising the stains rather quickly and after 5 days I noticed a significant improvement.
Then, I read on the net that also using 3% Hydrogen Peroxide mouthwash can help.
I used it a few times but then I stopped because it seemed like my teeth had reverted back to how they appeared at the start of the process, i.e stained and slightly yellowish.
Anyways, I disposed the bottles of Hydrogen Peroxide solution and I am going to continue with the Crest Whitestrips.
I was wondering, what may of happened? Why did my teeth look significantly whiter and then suddenly revert back to a stained appearance?
Did the Hydrogen Peroxide solution cause this?
I tend to stay away from acidic drinks and I am a non drinker and non smoker, I use Sensodyne Pronamel toothpaste & Mouthwash.
However, I did drink a few pints of pure orange last week and I wondered if the the peroxide had made them more porous to stains?
Also, is it okay to use mouthwash right after bleaching?
Any help/advice is appreciated.
