Dear Dr Andrew, i have recently browsed the internet and found your website and i like all the reviews and also the treatments you have provided for your clients. i want to get pre examined before visiting your clinic in the United Kingdom, to have an better idea for the treatment, period and costs.
I want to do teeth straightening treatment and also want to get pre-scanned by my dentist here then she can send you over the pictures and mount x-rays so you can make an estimation of my situation. hopefully its possible from your side. Would a dental veneer cover my yellow tooth?

Hi I had a consultation last year over my two front teeth and the one to the left of them, I had knocked my two front teeth years before and chipped both and had them filled with white fillings, which are still on them today, one tooth died and I had root canal but since then it has gone yellow, and my two front teeth over time have pushed back, also the tooth next to them went forwards and twisted over time. My question is would a veneer cover the yellow and could I have a veneer over the white fillings? As I really don’t want to have drastic filling and drilling down of my two front teeth! My second question is what are the risks of the Inman brace? As it moves your teeth quickly can you get fractures or damage to the roots of my teeth?

How much would it cost to have my overbite corrected?

Hey, I first noticed i had a under bite when i was 14 when my dentist told me that my bottom jaw stuck out more than my top jaw and it was called an over bite after that i avoided smiling in photo’s and if i had to get my picture taking i didn’t smile. Anyway, when i was 18 i got braces on i had them on for 3 years, I was asked at the time – did i want to have the surgery to get it fixed permanently?  i stupidly said no thinking later i could get it done because i was pregnant at the time so when i asked could i get it done i was told no i was too old. i am now 26 years old and was wondering if would now have to pay for the surgery?If that’s true could you tell me how much it would be please? Hello Doctor Moore! I am a little worried about going to get my teeth fixed. The bottom canines are crooked and when I close my mouth, my top teeth sit over my bottom ones (Is that considered an over bite?) I am worried about the procedure and the pain I would have to endure when receiving dental treatment (I have dental phobia too). I am also worried in the case of just asking for my teeth to be be straightened out would of course lead to having them re-aligned but the dentist finding further complications too. I hope I haven’t confused you with this information! (: As usual we all have financial worries so anything regarding payment options would be great!! Thank you (: (:

I had my tooth root filled 2 years ago and I am not happy with how it looks now, would a veneer be of any help?

Hello. I had an accident a couple of years ago that resulted in one of my front teeth having to be root filled. It is now 2 years on and i am still not happy with the colour and how it looks as it has now changed position too! Is it safe for me to have a veneer do you think? I know that i will need to have both of my front treated so that they match but I am concerned that because it has been root filled that it won’t be suitable for a veneer. this causes me real concern but i also am desperate for something to be done as it doesn’t look very nice  at all. I have tried all types of bleaching and had composite placed on but i am still not happy with the colour of the tooth.

hello, just a quick question.. just wondering if anything can be done with my front upper teeth, they are completely hidden from view when i smile due mainly to the fact that their isnt much gum that their attatched to.the actual teeth themselves are in good condition its just the lips cover them totally i was thinking maybe lenghening the tooth somehow and then later having a lip lift. Its quite embaressing when attempting to smile and any slight improvement would greatly improve my life would you suggest putting crowns, veneers on the top teeth or replacing them with implants thanks for your help in advance!

Can invisalign aligners close 4mm gaps?

Hi, I have just been to a dentist who said aligners (invisalign) could not close the gap between my front teeth. He said you can only actually move teeth by about 1mm with invisalign. Now my gap is quite big so I was not necessarily going to go with aligners anyway but can they close gaps of say 4mm? He said I would need full on braces, (I would go for Incognito) with 4 veneers or 6 veneers? To be fair he said the four veneers and braces could be less on the veneer side depending on the finish I wanted. I thought he was very good and made me feel relaxed but now not sure what to think? A separate dentist has said otherwise on invisalign and not sure who’s advice I should be listening to, what do you think?

How do I know if I am being treated by a highly experienced cosmetic dentist?

Hi there. Sorry to bother you but how can I found out abot the dentist I have chosen in central London, is there a list of dentists you can look up for quality etc? I was quite happy with who I’ve chosen but am now having reservations and have just read a daily mail article ( from 2008 granted) by a fashion editor who went to see someone in Linton who was supposed to be top notch and had done pop stars teeth but she ended up having a nightmare and not only left with poor quality veneers that fellmout after 6 weeks but is isn constant pain form the procedure? How can you judge your dentists? I am starting to panic now despite only wanting two from top veneers 745 per veneer (is this normal price?) can you possiblynassist in helping find out the reputation of my chided dentist as the article pointed out top London dentists who work on celebs are not always the best ? I can’t afford to pay for cosmetic dental treatments, what are my options?

HI there

My teeth are in a really bad state. I had some porcelain crowns on posts done (front top 4 teeth between canines) about 20 years ago. I am now 38 and have lost two of the crowns which has obviously left two gaps and has left some quite ugly decaying bone where the teeth were. All four canines are decaying. ALL my back teeth at the top are either filled, decaying or both. I have no back teeth at the bottom apart from the very back ones. I had a breakdown in November 2011 and have been suffering from anxiety and depresssion since then and I take Fluoxetine on a daily basis. I have just got myself a new job at Jaguar but the state of my teeth is causing people to comment which is making me more depressed. I am not in a position to pay for cosmetic dentistry and am looking for some advice. Hope you can offer something in the way of an answer.

What types of implants are available and are they suitable for me?

Hi, I have a few dental issues and don’t know what to do. Currently, 

I am missing 7 teeth in total: all 4 wisdom teeth, both upper first molars and the left permanent incisor. I required braces because of this for 2 years when I was 15. I was then told to wait till I was 18 or 19 for my jaw to stop growing before getting an implant to replace my left incisor. During this time the roots of the teeth either side have begun to move towards each other. I went to have an implant but was told there was not enough space for the implant. I would just like to know what options I have? Also what implants are available now and do you think they’d be suitable for me? Thanks for any help
