Can You Get Dental Implants on the NHS?

Hi, I’m 30 years old and my teeth are bad through my own fault. I’m really embarrassed and ashamed of my teeth and when I talk to someone I can see them looking at my teeth and some of my friends laugh at me and call me names so I don’t really socialise with anyone, and that’s including my family. I sit in my bedroom all the time watching TV so I dont get laughed at. I really need implants, I dont just want them to have nice teeth I want them so I can get the confidence to go outside and talk to people without feeling embarrassed and ashamed. How much cosmetic treatment can you get for £50 month? Can you get implants on NHS?

There’s a Space Above My Invisalign Aligner Surface. Will it Affect My Treatment?

I’m on Invisalign treatment now on aligner number 14 out of 48. I just discovered that my front tooth is slightly chipped, about less than 2 mm. I noticed that one of my front teeth has become smaller and checked the fitness of my aligner. There’s an obvious space above the surface. I don’t experience any pain whatsoever but I’m worried that this will this affect my treatment. If so, what do I need to be prepared for?

How Easy Is It For A Dentist To Remove Denseal From A Temporary Tooth?

My question is: how easy is it for a dentist to remove Denseal from the enamel of a tooth fixed as a temporary repair for a chipped tooth? This is worrying me as I have an appointment next week.and like the other people, I am embarrassed about it.The repair covers the hole with a strip along the back of the tooth to stop it from falling out. It’s not meant as a permanent fix, just while I wait a month for my appointment. Thanks.

How Much Would a Full Smile Makeover Cost?

How much work and how much will it cost to get a full smile makeover? I’m a single parent of two with no confidence due to really bad teeth, it has now effected my face shape due to having no back top teeth. All my bottom teeth are crooked and there are too many. My front tooth is pushed forward due to the next tooth pushing it out and I have half a tooth filled badly with a composite filling as the tooth is decayed.

Why Have My Teeth Turned Yellow During Brace Treatment?

Hi. I had Six Month Smile braces fitted a month ago and my teeth have turned a yellow colour. I’m very cautious of the colour of the food I eat. I drink coffee through a straw and clean my teeth regularly. I have spent money on different types of cleaning brushes but to no avail. I use Sensodyne toothpaste and Oral B mouthwash. Friends have commented on them therefore I am very conscious of them. Is there anything I can do?

Hi. I have horrible teeth. I’m 29. They’re crooked, loose and discoloured. I want all new teeth. I am unemployed at the minute, it’s giving me a lot of stress because I cant get a job because of my appearance. I want my two front teeth sorting out and my bottom ones. I have tried with the NHS but they are refusing to help me with this. I need my teeth sorting out it would be the best thing ever, I cant even smile at anyone because of this. Can I Have Implants If I Grind My Teeth?

Hi there. I have bruxism (grinding/clenching teeth in my sleep) and retainers don’t help. Due to that I have craked my teeth and had to have them extracted. I was given dentures, which I have been wearing for over 2 years. Even though they are vaeloplast flexible ones, I have noticed they are damaging the other teeth they hold onto- I am contemplating implants but because of the bruxism I’m not sure if thats a good idea. The teeth that need replacing are all in the lower part of mouth- I have had 1 implant for the top tooth but the tooth is yet to be put on. I would appreciate your advice on this. How Can My Child’s Fluorosis Be Treated?

Hello, I hope you can help. My little 7 year old daughter’s teeth have began erupting. She is showing signs of moderate fluorosis with white opaque patches and yellow marks on her front incisors. I realise she is still very young, but this is extremely distressing for her. She was once a bubbly happy child but is now being bullied at school, it’s horrible. Is there anything that can be done now to ease her suffering? Thank you.

How Can I Treat Chipped and Discoloured Teeth Without Using Replacements or Veneers?

Hello. I’ve had braces and my teeth are straight, but I chips in a few of my front teeth. I also have some discolouration and towards the end of the tooth it’s almost transparent, I think this may be due to enamel wear as I drink a lot of Coke. I’m looking to get cosmetic dentistry to fix this, but what would be the best option for me to get this fixed without getting veneers or completely replacing the tooth? Thank you.

Is There a Quick Option to Straighten Two Teeth?

Hello,

I have used Invisalign to align my teeth but the upper front 2 incisors are not perfectly aligned. As I do not want to have another round of Invisalign, is there another quick option just to make these 2 teeth a bit more straight? Also, could you kindly advise if Lumineers could be a solution or are they too thin? I do not want to affect the teeth so I’m not interested in veneers.
