hi am 25 years old, with 2 young sons since a child my mother never took care of my teeth or took me to the dentist i was constently moved home to home all when i moved out 16 was the first time i started to look after my teeth now am really scared of the dentist i floss daily and brush between meals as much as possible & mornin night, but over the last few years 7 of my back teeth have cracked fell out, i can no longer chew food, it hurts, hurts when i close my mouth, iv been to my denitst who says there nothing that can be done to help me, except dentures i feel depressed helpless about anything i can do to help my teeth, i have another one thats starting to show a cavity this is really gettin me down i just want to be able to cook nice healthy food with my sons but am findin it hard to eat anything do u know any monthly payment splans or help i can get for dental implants or maybe have one fitted a years i need some advice its ruining my life

Friday, May 17th, 2013 I had to get top and bottom plates one year ago. I take bad with how false and ugly they are. I cannot bite into anything and have to cut everything up, even toast. I have lost loads of weight because of this. I cannot open my mouth to take a mouthful off a fork as my teeth fall down. They look like teeth shaped out of plastic, are all blended together and not one individual tooth. If I eat any thing even a biscuit my teeth are a mess with bits of food. I cannot eat in front of anybody because of this, therefore can never go out for a meal. I had bad teeth and made a desperate decision to get false sets. I am devastated and would be glad of any advice

Tuesday, May 14th, 2013hi my name is i have been going to my dentist for 15 years when i get cavities done they have to put me to sleep and the sedation was not helping me to be put to sleep my parents didn’t want him to put more anaestheitc in me so they used laughing gas on me and they didn’t tell me I need to know if laughing gas is safe? i heard on the internet that it makes you act crazy and makes you do strange things i have never had laughing gas this is the first time that they used laughing gas on me and believe me i felt very strange and weird at the same time, are there severe side effects to laughing gas? i need advice my dentist works with aduts and chidlren with speical needs and its important to me for him to tell me before my procedure so that i can understand.
Can My Crowns Be Made Shiny And Smooth?
Monday, May 13th, 2013I recently had two all porcelain crowns on my front teeth. They were too bulky so the dentist contoured them all over to flatten them. Now, I feel self conscious because I can see horizontal creases on the crowns and they are not as shiny as before. I have paid a lot of money for these crowns and feel really upset with the appearance. I can see where the dentist has contoured them and where he hasn’t because I can see te shiny glaze in some areas where he did not contour. When I tried them on I did not feel like I could make a decision because they kept falling out of my mouth and I ended up saying yes but felt rushed. I would have preferred going away with them for a few days and then making my decision. Is there any way that the crowns can be made shiny and smooth again?
How Much Would A New Bridge Cost From A Private Dentist?
Friday, May 10th, 2013I have had a bridge made and fitted on the NHS for my two bottom front teeth, I am not happy with it at all. The false teeth are “taller” than my own teeth, a different colour, keep coming loose ( have to keep going back to the dentist to have it re- cemented which costs me £18 each time) gap at the bottom which has left me with a lisp that is getting worse. In the last six months the dentist has put a white filling between my two front teeth as I have a gap on three occasions and they have all fallen out within two days. The previous white filling I had for about three to four years. I would appreciate a quote for a bridge for my two bottom front teeth and having a white filling to fill the gap in my two front top teeth. As a result of these issues I have gone from a confident outgoing person to a recluse.

Thursday, May 9th, 2013 Which treatment is best and cheapest for my son he is 16 years old and had NHS orthodontist treatment 6 years ago. He stopped wearing his retainers four years ago. Now his wisdom teeth are coming through he has a mid-line shift of top front teeth going to the right,
Before the orthodontist treatment 6 years ago we had to have a tooth removed on the top right side due to overcrowding, I feel this has caused the mid line shift as x-ray has been taken and he has the extra tooth on the left side plus the wisdom teeth which are coming through and pushing the whole line off teeth to the right.
I would appreciate any advise you can give thank you.
Should We Extract My Daughter’s Erupted Canines?
Tuesday, May 7th, 2013My 14 year old daughter’s two upper canines have erupted to full size in front and above the lateral incisors. All other teeth, on both sides of the upper arch, (central incisors through to premolars and molars) are well aligned with no gaps. Is it best to extract the canines, or extract the premolars and pull the canines into the spaces? The canines are bigger than the premolars, so would be a tight fit, and they would have to travel a long distance presenting a risk that good alignment would not be achieved. Extracting the canines would seem the simplest option with all other teeth being OK. But is it OK to lose these important teeth?
How Long Will My Plastic Crown Last?
Tuesday, May 7th, 2013My question is about using a plastic crown as a permanent solution for a cracked tooth. I have an upper left tooth (#26) that has had a root canal and recently cracked from the surface down into the root. The dentist has said that because the root is cracked they can’t put a post in, and because of that they can’t use a porcelain crown. So far he has cemented the crack, prepared the tooth, and taken imprints to make a plastic crown. He said the plastic crown should last about 5 to 10 years. Everything I’ve read only mentions plastic crowns for very short term use. Does this sound like a reasonable treatment?

Friday, May 3rd, 2013How much would it cost for screw in teeth? My teeth are in bad condition and every time I get them fixed they just seem to be going the same way? The top ones are all rotting away, I can’t smile at anyone and I don’t even like speaking to people face to face in case they see my teeth, I work in a pretty busy shop and can’t even talk to the customers. Or other members of staff because of this, would be great if you could give me any information about screw in teeth and how to go about getting them a fixed.
