Hello Dr Moore. I need your help. I have missing rotten teeth and I am desperate for help I have several missing teeth and the ones I do have are rotten. I have not seen a dentist for several years and am now very self conscious when speaking and also this is very ageing as lines have appeared around my mouth. Hello Andrew. I am seeking a good composite bonding dentist in the London area.
I went through a period of teeth grinding. I have now stopped although I still use a night guard.
This has resulted in shorter and ground down teeth to the upper and bottom front teeth.
Can you please suggest how I locate a good dentist for this work and although I know they do not last as long as porcelain veneers, would this be a recommended treatment for short, stubby teeth? Would there be another treatment I could consider? Many thanks.
Hello Dr Moore. I have a six months smile brace on at the moment that I have been told will hopefully be removed in a months time. I am also having whitening and a couple of crowns, one a replacement on my front tooth the other to cover a dead tooth. I damaged my teeth as a child falling down stairs. I have been told that I will be given a permanent fixed wire retainer on the back of my teeth for life, but I am worried that not only will this affect my bite when I eat and I also worry about keeping it clean, what are your opinions on this? Hey Dr Moore, I hope you can help me. I have a few gaps between my teeth but my main worry is the one between my two front teeth about 2mm to 3mm wide. It’s only on my top jaw and I was wondering roughly how much would it cost me to get my teeth bonded and how long would it take? Do you know whether bonding is suitable for all cases? It’s something that has worried me for awhile and I’d really like to get this fixed as soon as possible so braces aren’t really in my thinking at the moment. I’m 19 and I really want perfect teeth but I have had problems in the past where my teeth have gone bad and I had to have fillings and now I’m paranoid about the way they look and it really upsets me. I would like to know the cost for permanent dentures all around my whole mouth and I don’t want to be able to move them I just really want a perfect set off teeth. Does the NHS pay for this or help towards payment? Thank you. I’d really like some advice.
Hello and thank you for your time. I have a question about bridges, I don’t know anything about them really but I have my two central incisors then either side of them my lateral incisors are behind and then I have a canine tooth sitting high and misaligned. I was wondering if tooth removal and a bridge would be a good choice for speed of treatment? I do not wish to have any type of brace/orthodontic treatment to correct this? Hello Dr Moore. On my last visit to the dentist they said I would have to have my old bridge removed as there is a gap now between the tooth and the gum. It doesn’t bother me at all but they said it will have to come out. That will mean I’ll have a gap on either side of my mouth where the two at the back teeth used to be. They said a plate would be an option but I would prefer to have permanent teeth implanted. Could you give me an idea how much they cost? And if there are any other options available to me? Thank you.

I expected some work before I used the trays, but all my dentist did was show me how much of the product to put in my trays before I fit them at night.
Is this correct?
I have been told I will receive an hours appointment at the end of the 2 week treatment.
Should the teeth not be cleaned properly before hand?
I had a clean 2 weeks before after my check up but the hygienist only scraped my teeth (private clean)
There were some brown marks left on my teeth after the clean, which the dentist said was permanent scarring?(I have scraped some of this off myself)

Hi Andrew. Which is the recommended procedure? Invisalign or the British alternative c-thru? What are the advantages and disadvantages of both? My teeth are not very badly distorted and both have been recommended. The c-thru is supposed to be cheaper slightly but does that affect the end result? What procedure is more efficient and easier to maintain long term and how would this be achieved in both cases? Could you tell me what procedure you would recommend personally? I am a 40 year old female.
