Can You Treat Infection Without Replacing Existing Veners

Q.
I’ve had veneers placed in my two front teeth about six years ago due to a tragic blow to my two front teeth. I recently went to a dentist in regards to a wisdom tooth that is coming in, when looking at the x-rays my dentist noticed that there was an infection around the two veneers, examined the two small blister like bumps at the very tgop of my gums where my veneers are. She then right away said I needed to see a specialist in regards to a dental implant. I was so worried and know this can cost MORE than veneers. She didn’t say if the infection has spread to the bone, but did notify me if I waited x amount years it could.
Is there any other solution to treat the infection so that way my veneers DONT need to be replaced?

Hello, There is possibly another option but a diagnosis would be required. This can only be done by an examination and xray. Without this it is impossible for me to say what options you may have. I hope this helps,
