can you tell me if there is procedure to build up my gums again and if i be suitable for bridge

Q. Hi I hope you can help, I have had both of my upper back teeth out due to gum disease,my gums have receded and now the next visible tooth is wobbly! I am very anxious about my missing teeth as it is and am scared I will lose the next one also. Also my upper lip seems to have gotten more lined. Can you tell me if there is a procedure to build up your gums again and if I would be suitable for a bridge or partial dentures. I am 42 and do not want things to get any worse.

A. Gum disease is caused by bacterial infection of your gums and the bone underneath.  The first thing you need to have is an assessment of your current gum health.  Following this the bacterial infection needs to be removed and your oral hygiene techniques improved to reduce the chances of reoccurence of the infection
