Can you replace the fillings and clean the other stains?

Q. Hi there.i was just wondering whether you can help me with a problem i have with my teeth.i have a white filling in each tooth either side of the top central teeth and they have gone brown with cigarette stains.my uasual dentist has attempted to clean them but they wont clean up.i also have a stain between the two big front teeth and between one of the lower teeth which do not have fillings.can you replace the fillings and clean the other stains?i have given up smoking for 6 months and the stains have only been there for about 6 months.thanks.

A. Yes you could remove the stain with the Hygienist and replace the stained white filling with a new filling

Hi i was wondering if i could have my teeth whitened if i have had fillings done and if the fillings will also go whiter as a result or will it only be my teeth i dont want to have to redo my fillings as well or can my fillings be re-coloured just on the surface?

Yes you can have your teeth whitened , but you have to be aware this will no whiten the fillings
