can you remove the scratches from the surface of my teeth?
Q. Hi, the surface of my two front teeth is scratched, which really annoys me, is there anything that can be done to smooth the scratches so that they are no longer visible. Many thanks.
A. Dear A,
A simple solution would be to polish the surface if the scratches are fine and only on the surface covering ( enamel) of your teeth. However if you are aware of them to your tongue it is likely that they are deeper. If so simple bonding to “fill in” the cracks with a tooth coloured filling material might be the answer. If they are really profound porcelain veneers might be a better solution to improve their appearance.
