Can you get implants if you have gum disease?

Q.
do you still put implants in if there is gum disease? If not how do you get rid of gum disease.
A.
See a Hygienist or gum specialist first then when everything has resolved and the gums are stable consider dental implants.

I would suggest you go back to the Dentist that fit the implant. If that’s not possible, than any Cosmetic Dentist should be able to give you more information after looking at the problem.
