Can toothy smile be fixed?

Q. I have a very toothy smile. It has always bothered me and now more than ever it is really making me feel self consciuos. I think the problem is that my front 4-6 teeth are quite long and therefore make my smile look very toothy. is there anything than can be done for this and what would the procedure cost.,
