Can tooth grown out of gum be removed?

Q. My grand-daughter (age 25) has a tooth that has grown out of her gum due to, I think, from a poorly done Orthodontic procedure when she was age 11. It is on the left upper side of her mouth. Can this be removed now?,
A. Yes I’m sure it will be possible to move the tooth, probably with a fixed brace
