can my growing wisdom tooth cause pain in my other teeth
Q. My wisdom tooth is growing and I was wondering would this cause pain in my other tooth?
A. Wisdom teeth can be very painful. Not only can the pain come from the actual tooth but if can feel as if the surrounding teeth are painful as well. It is also common to have a lower wisdom tooth causing pain to your jaw, ear and surrounding areas. Wisdom teeth tend to hurt more when they are growing or moving. A simple pain relief technique is using hot water ( as warm as you can manage) with salt and bathing the painful area in this solution, ibuprofen & paracetamol can also help. If the pain does not get better it might be worth you considering having the tooth removed.
I hope this helps you
