Can invisalign braces be fitted to teeth that have a crown fitted?

Q. Hello. I have a crown on one of my top, central incisors which I have had for about 8 years. I have noticed over the last year or so that my top front teeth are becoming crooked – specifically, the tooth with the crown is moving forward very slightly. I am very unhappy with the effect this has on my smile and wanted to look into Invisalign braces or something similar (something discreet) but my question is whether it would be OK to undergo such treatement with a crown fitted, or whether the braces would cause the crown to break off, rather than realigning it and the remaining tooth underneath. Please advise me. Thank you.,
A. Invisalign or any other braces can be used on crowns. I would advise you to go see a Cosmetic Invisalign Dentist for a consultation.

Hi, all my life I have been very conscious of my overbite, which has made me feel very inferior. Now at 59 I am in the throes of having Invisalign but my dentist is slightly uncomfortable about it because I have a large post in my front crown tooth (I had 4 stitches). Should he be concerned because Invisalign said it should be ok. Also does gum shrinkage have any impact on the treatment? Thanking you in advance for your help.
