Can i use clear braces if i have a dead tooth

Q. I have a gap between my teeth which i want to close. I have been referred to see a orthodontist regarding clear braces by my dentist, however my right front tooth is dead as i have no feeling in it, i have explain this to the dentist. Should i have braces if i have a dead tooth, will they close the gap? would bonding be better? i have always had a small gap but it has got bigger.I just want the teeth to go back to how it was so i can smile.

A. Hi

Of course the orthodontist will be able to give you the best answer when he has clinically and radiographicaly examined your mouth.

Both are options can be done, but it depends on how large the gap is , aswell as other variables.

At our practice we have used both options depending on the case.

good luck!
