Can I Still Get An Implant If My Gum Has Healed?

Q.
I had a molar removed from my top teeth approx 2yrs ago as it was infected could not be saved. I now have a gap. the tooth next to it is a crown but I have now been advised by my dentist that it is loose and will need replacing and the tooth removing as I would not be ble to have another crown. I would like an implant for the missing tooth as well as the tooth that will need removing. But my dentist has said that I would not be able to have an implant as the gum/bone has healed but I might be able to have an implant with a tooth attached so I have 2 teeth. Is this something that can be done?
A.
I would love to answer your question but at present I do not have enough information and ideally need to see you in person to assess your situation properly. In theory there could be other options open to you but an assessment of your bone quantity and quality is required. My advice would be for you to see one of our implant experts or one that is close to where you live, for the very best advice. Choose someone that has specialist qualifications or expert training and lots of experience in implants for thebest advice and results

I hope that helps for now?

Kind Regards

Mark
