Can I have veneers removed later and go back to my own teeth

Q. I am thinking about getting some veneers fitted, however, I know that the life span of veneers is roughly 10 years. Once I’ve had veneers fitted, if one day I didn’t want them, could I have them removed permanently and go back to how I am now? Does the tooth preparation process to attach veneers affect the integrity of the tooth?

A. If you were to go ahead with veneers this is an irreversible procedure and you would not be able to take them off and be back to square one so you do need to assess the pros and cons of treatment and ensure you are happy with the quality of the treating dentists work
