Can I have veneers or braces fitted if I have poor gums?
Q. I have gaps in my teeth, crowded teeth, and an overbite and my bottom 2 teeth have quite bad bone tissue exposure due to receeding gums. With tthe poor gums, is it still possible to have veneers or invisalign or braces fitted. What procedures would be best for me to get that perfect straight smile?,
A. braces might still be possible providing the bone supporting the teeth is still healthy. I would recommend seeing a Periodontist first.
