Can I have root filling after veneer?
Q. Hi, I have a front tooth whith veneer and it started feeling a bit tender and painful for a couple of months, my dentist is suggesting a root filling but being one of my front teeth I am very worried if it tuns out okay without any visible damage afterwards. The pain is not severe and is acutally bearable but feels tender. My dentist also says it might fall out at some point which is devastating for me. Can you please advise if I should get the root filling done and if there is any way to save the tooth.
A. It sounds as though you need to have the root treatment – I would follow the advice of your dentist
