can i have professional teeth whitening on a crown

Q. I would like my teeth professionally whitened but the front tooth is a crown - would this mean I cannot have them whitened?

A. You can have your teeth whitened but it may mean that you need the crown replaced once you are happy with the colour of the rest of your teeth. Ask your dentist about this. If you don’t have a dentist then if you seek the opinion of a cosmetic dentist they will be able to go through treatment options and costs.
