Can I have my front teeth made smaller?

Q.
I would like to know if it is possible to have my large front two teeth made to look smaller. I have asked my dentist about porcelain veneers, and understand that they need to be replaced as gums recede etc with age, however, they also advised me that it would be almost impossible to make my teeth slightly smaller, due to change in bite etc. I’d appreciate any advice or guidance you can give as to whether I could have cosmetic dentistry to achieve this?

Proportions of teeth can often be improved with veneers. However I often have to treat 6,8 or even ten teeth if I am to give a patient a correctly proportioned smile. Have a look at my website to see the great results that can be achieved
