Can I have my bottom teeth crowned to save them?
Q. i am 41 yrs old and have always ground my teeth at night to a point of completely wearing down my front bottom teeth as i have an over bite. im about to lose another back bottom tooth to grinding which means i then will have 15 teeth! is it possible to have my front bottom teeth crowned to save them?,
A. Yes if there is enough enamel left you could have crowns, I would seriously consider a full mouth reconstruction to improve the bite on all the teeth with crowns then use a bite guard to protect the teeth and new crowns from the pressure of the grinding andrew
