Can I have lumineers so I don’t have to file my teeth to stumps

Q. I was foolish to have veeneers to close the gap in my teeth instead of having a brace. The dentist said three four more times of replacing the veeneers I will have to have them filed down to stumps. Could I have lumineers instead and avoid this happening?

A. Lumineers is a brand name for veneers made by a company in the USA. They are still veneers and will not have any better success than standard veneers. Nowadays the strength of veneers are very high. Provided they are bonded on correctly and your bite isn’t too heavy you should have few problems with veneers for many years.
