Can i have dental implants on the NHS?

Q. hi i broke 4 of my front teeth when i was younger but was too scared to go to a dentist. when i was 20 i eventually went but it was too late and had the teeth removed and had a denture placed. im now 24 and feel old wearing false teeth and u can tell they are not real. i want to eat food and smile confidently. im an nhs patient and im not sure wether i could have implants or something different on the nhs. could u give me any advice please??,
A. The NHS will not cover implants – you can only have them privately but the cost can often be spread over a number years by finance. This is obviously bothering you and you should seriously consider having implants as soon as possible as the underlying bone will reduce over time – this is what the implant will be secured into and if left for too long you will need bone grafting
