Can I have any treatment for tooth gap?

Q. I have a filling which is root canal filled, but the entire tooth has now gone from above the gum, leaving me with a gap. My dentist has said he cannot crown it and there is nothing more he can do and has just simply sealed over it with white filling material. It is quite far back so not too noticable but would like to have it sorted. Is there anything I can do?,
A. You could possible have the root extracted and have an implant placed in this gap. I recommend you book a consultation with an Implantologistto see if this would be possible.Kind regardsDr  Justin Glasiterwww.umbrellasmiles.com
