Can I have a veneer on top of a temporary crown
Q. I lost my tooth in the front and had a temporary crown which was done very bad, would it be possible to have a veneer put on top of the temporary crown
A. If I understand this correctly there is a permanent solution already planned.
The short answer is poor quality temporaries are best remade from scratch.
If you are waiting a couple of weeks for the final replacement the best option is to return to your dentist to remake the temporary crown.
If the temporary is to last a few months during a healing phase , you could consider a second opinion.
Please let me know if this is helpful.
