Can I have a full set of implants and can it be done with a general anaesthetic?
Q. I am 66 yrs old and I am in good health. I have lost my back teeth top and bottom and some of my front teeth. I am considering a full set of implants. Is this feasible? Can this be done with a general anesthetic? Thanks,
A. hi implant technology and techniques have got us to a point where nearly everything is possible in the right hands. you dont necessarily need an implant for each tooth when considering a full set as bridges on implants can mimimise this cost. ga is best avoided as working on the mouth with intubation is near impossible and complicates things but think about iv sedation as a possibility. feel free to book a free consult if we can help you further
