i have some of my teeth missing at the front,
are dentist implants better than part dentist plates ? my dentist says that good dentist plates are ok if made properly and that dentists who do screw in implants just want to do it to make them even richer,
what should i do ? and is there risks in the implant operation procedure?

Reading the dr butts reply about nhs dentures above is shocking, im sure the nhs would not be happy with a professional person making such disparaging comments about the nhs and its services, perhaps ethels comments above highlight the kind of dentist he is.

Does anybody know why dental mecanics and other dental professionals who practise dentistry cannot undertake nhs work in their own right ? seems to many that dentists dont want to do it, but dont want anyone else to either, smacks of restrictive practise to those looking inwards.

Hi have privately made dentures but the teeth on them need moving or putting onto a new denture (told the teeth are good quality and concerned at keeping costs down as the denture was expensive – would then like mini dental implant so would more than likely need finance HOWEVER not certain if my credit rating would allow ? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

i can only affored nhs treatment. So i can only expect rubbish treatment that is bellow standard. I still pay so why?
