Can I get treatment for overlapping teeth, many of which have holes, on the NHS?

Q. Hi, am 27 year old and i have very bad teeth, i have teeth over lapping and many holes, i was wondering if i could get a brace or cosmetic work on the NHS,as i am i get carer allowance and income support and i cant really afford it and its putting me down thanks,
A. The NHS is not able to fund cosmetic dentistry but will deliver cosmetic results if the treatment has a functional reason. So getting your teeth fixed on the NHS should help with the appearance. Rob
