Q. I am 32 years old and have suffered bad teeth all my life. When i was three i had all of my milk teeth removed due to an genetic disorder that causes the enamel to be weak. Recently, i have had quite a few teeth break and i have a severe fobia of dentists. This has caused me to be very depressed and concious of talking and socialising. Is there anyway i can get referred to the hospital to have them all removed and replaced with dentures?
A. You could ask your dentist for a referral to a local hospital however you maybe best advised to have treatment in general practice maybe involving sedation to help overcome your fear
