can i get dental implants on NHS

Q. hello, i have a problem, i think i have it after my father. my teeth are moving and every 6 months i see bigger gap between my two front teeth. my teeth are also very week and always chipping. i have already 4 crowns(my two front teeth) as last year i lost two on side. i dont know why they falling out. i am 26 years old and people say good looking but my tooths letting me down. i have a good dental care, brushing my teeth 3 times a day and also using mounthwash. I m thinking about dental implants but i cant afford it. i m nhs worker (healthcare assistant in hospital) but i dont think NHS would sponsor dental implants?

A. I think you are right about the availability of NHS funds fors dental implants.
The loss of teeth at 26 years old does mean it is likely that you are highly susceptable to gum disease. A dental hospital will have a periodontal department that will try to manage the gum problem. If you can stabilise the gum problem with a lot of hard work by you and a high maintenance regime from them; you could investigate ways of improving the appearance.
