Can I do home whitening with my Invisalign aligners?

The aligners you have for Invisalign may not be suitable for home whitening as they are very tight fitting and do not allow for any gel to sit on the surface of the tooth, between the aligner and the tooth.
I would see your dentist and assess this situation and see what home whitening system they use. There are many different brands of teeth whitening products available and as long as you buy a carbamide peroxide/hydrogen peroxide based system from a dentist, your teeth whitening will be effective and safe.

how effective is invisalign? do you believe it can really work? would we still have to wear retainers afterwards or not? what is the overall price and are there any hidden costs
Invisalign is really good and can give you a really good result. You should always wear retainers at the end of any orthodontic treatment. I would advise you to go see a Cosmetic Invisalign Dentist for a consultation.
