Can cosmetic dentistry correct the position of my chin?

Q.
Hi, I am considering having cosmetic dental surgery because allthough my teeth are not terrible i have neglected them over the years more than i should and they are quite stained, i have a small gap between my front teeth and my bottom front teeth are quite crooked. Which leads to my question. I hate my side profile because i feel like i have a weak chin, i think this may be caused though because when my teeth are clenched in the normal position my bottom teeth seem to be further back than most peoples appear to be. Would cosmetic dentistry align all my teeth perfectly so that when my mouth was closed my teeth would all rest in the correct position thus aligning my chin correctly, or would something like that require a more drastic kind of surgery? Thankyou for your time.

The position of your chin in relation to the rest of your face is more of a facial surgery issue, aligning the teeth won’t change this.
