I cannot stress enough the need to wear a post operative retainer. THis can be fixed or removable and needs to be worn to stop your teeth from moving back to the original position.
The only way to correct your teeth is to have some form of orthodontic appliance to straighten them again- and then you need to wear a retainer or they will move again.
Good luck.
