Can a sedation dentist operate on me whilst I have extensive work done?

Q.
i have about 14 metal fillings and due to a bad experience at the local teaching hospital am now petrified of going to the denitist, im now very concious of my smile and am wanting to have my teeth whitened and all of the fillings replaced with white ones, would a cosmetic dental surgeon be able to put me to sleep whilst this work was done? and if so how many visits do you think it would take?
A.
We can offer intravenous (IV) sedation which is extremely relaxing and oddly pleasant it also causes most patients to be unable to remember the visit. They report feeling as though they were asleep.
at least four visits and in some cases 8 or more.

I may need to replace some old fillings. I would like only to do this withthe safest non controversial materials which for me mean no metals whatsoever. I have heard about fibreglass fillings. I may need four for back teeth. Some idea of price would help enormously please.
