Braces left my teeth with uneven marks. I have looked into Veneers but I have also been recommended whitening products. Any advice?

Q. Hi Dr Kailesh After wearing braces as a teenager on top and bottom, I have been left with badly marked teeth giving them a very uneven look. There are white marks on each tooth making the rest of the tooth look discoloured. I spoke to my Dentist about options and she tried to discourage me from Veneers (I left thinking that the process was to drill the teeth down to a peg then fit over a whole crown!) She has suggested to try Whitening but am I correct in thinking that if the whole tooth is whitened then the white patches will also whiten? I am not looking for a dazzling white smile, I simply want my teeth to look even again. Please can you let me know what you would advise. I would also like to know what I should expect to pay for Veneers or if they are available on the NHS. Thanks ever so much in advance for any advice you can offer.,
A. I would try the tooth whitening, there are some very sucessful ones for example enlighten this is the latest technology tooth whitening giving fantastic results. Veneers are an option but they do require some tooth destruction. Privately cost from £500.00 per tooth. I am happy to see you for a free consultation.

I have just recently gotten my braces off and was mortified to find marbling on my front row of teeth. What can be done to reduce it?

I am enquiring about your porcelain veneers. The teeth on either side of mytop front two teeth are crooked. I was wondering how much you charged fora consultation and how much would it cost for two veneers to sort this problem out. Thank you
