best treatment for a chipped tooth
Q. I chipped my front tooth when I was young, it is now slightly discoloured what is the best treatment for this? also I have black mercury fillings two, can I have these replaced with porclain filings?
A. I would recommend a full consultation so your teeth can be fully examined. if your tooth is darkening it indicated that the nerve inside the tooth has died. This would invovle a root canal treatment to clean out the infected materaial. porcelain inlays can be long term replacements to metal fillings.
I hope this helps
