Bacterial infection from a tooth filling is causing a lot of pain, any advice?

Q. had a filling in a tooth got a bacterial infection been on antibiotic cephalexin for 6 weeks and doesnt seem to be helpn have swelling horrible pain and burning and a raw feeling from behind the tooth all the way to the roof of my mouth. im scared i may be becoming resistant to the antibiotics please help me,
A. antibiotics will only help for a while, it sounds like the tooth either needs root canal treatment or extraction. See your dentist again ASAP
