Are there any alternatives to crowning for fragile teeth?

Q.
Hello Sir,

To start with, i have flourine rich teeth which has made my teeth fragile and little bit spotty in appearance. In addition, my front two teeths are bigger in size than the rest (Bunny smile) and the gap between the front two teeth is significantly noticeable. In order to have a proper smile,  I was wondering whether it would be advisable to go for crowning, or is there any other way to deal with this? Any suggestions would welcome.

Regards

A.
Hello, I think that possibly bonding or porcelain veneers may be the solution to your problem. Orthodontics may also be required to get the best results? If your teeth are crowned this is potentially very destructive to the tooth and should be avoided unless absolutely necessary.

I would suggest that you attend for a thorough examination and consultation with an experienced cosmetic dentist first to find out what can be done for you

Best wishes
