Are dental implants or bridges necessary for replacing missing teeth?

Q. Are dental implants or bridges necessary at all in order to replace a single missing tooth?,
A. Seems an odd question, but you can function with nothing just a gap. Other problems may occur but they are not life threatening. Many single tooth gaps at the back of the mouth are left unrestored. Most single tooth gaps at the front of the mouth are restored. Rob
