Are dental implants available on the NHS?

Q.
hi.i have been so down about my teeth.all my back teeth were taken out about 2 years ago.i did get dentures made but they really hurt and never stayed in properly.iam only 32.i have not been able to sort my teeth out and just suffered as i have a terminally ill 4 year old daughter who is disabled.she needs constant care and is always in and out of hospital so have had no time to look after myself or the money.iam on income support so funds are tight.is there any chance i could get implants and are these available on the nhs.im so depressed not being able to eat properly.

I’m very sorry to hear of your problems. Unfortunately dental implants are not available on the NHS as they cost too much to provide. Your best option would be to have another set of dentures made that hopefully will fit better. Regards Andrew
