Q. Hello, i had a upper root canal done then a perm crown. this tooth still hurts (pain in root) dispite nothing wrong showing on xray, plus 2 lots of anti biotics later. now all my upper teeth ache especially my front ones? what could this be i am really fed up. i would value you opinion thanks so much
A. Hi many thanks for your email, i think the pain is radiating from the tooth which has been root canaled. if the tooth is not settling my advice would be to asked to be referred to a specialist endodontist who is more likely to get to the bottom of the problem and resolve the pain.
