Hi Mark. I have a question for you. After learning about the Chao Pinhole Gum Rejuvenation technique, I was wondering when we would see this technique available in the UK? It seems to be a real alternative to the dreaded gum graft with similar if not better results, which is suture and incision free, whilst also taking less time to carry out with a better and more comfortable healing time. Is this something we will see in the UK in the very near future? Thanks!

Quite possibly. You have to be mindful though that as it’s very new there are no long term results to look into. In other words we don’t quite know yet if it will be successful in the long term or if it is stable and predictable. It’s very early days yet and I always work with procedures that have lots of research and historical evidence to ensure my patients can expect long term success. Thanks for asking about the procedure though, and hopefully it will provide long term benefits. Mark.
