After brace treatment, my teeth moved back into position, what would you advise I do now?
Q.
Hi, i received braces when i was 12, i have a very bad over bite and it does affect my speech. I had them on the NHS as my overbite was so bad. They offered me an operation when i was 14 but i turned it down due to school etc. Now i am nearly 19, my teeth have gone back to what they were (even after completing the proceeder) . I am looking to get braces again. What would be your advice?

Dear Enquirer,
It is likely that you didn’t have or didn’t wear a retainer which is the most important factor in keeping your teeth in their final position.
I would seek the opinion of an orthodontist who can advise you on the best way forward. Don’t worry, you can have a beautiful healthy smile again.
If you are in the London area, you are welcome to book a consultation with my in-house specialist orthodontist, who can advise you.
