Q. About 6 years ago i made a rash decision and as i was not happy with my teeth i had my 4 front top teeth crowned. i didn’t really research it and it was not thoroughly explained but i went ahead. i had a slight overbite, which they said i would still have, but didn’t really go in depth. I now have a large overbite which i have not really been happy with and does cause me problems with eating and speaking at times. i periodically get quite distressed by it and would really like to know what i could do about further treatment and where i could go. any advice would be great!

A. It is always difficult to give advice without seeing you but it sounds like the fundamantal problem is the position of your teeth.  The best way to resolve this would be by orthodontics.   Procedures such as Invisalign ( a series of see through mouthguards which straighten your teeth) other options are fixed metal braces (Train tracks or an Inman aligner.  These options would put your teeth into a better position which may be all you need to do.  After this you could have new crowns or veneers to create a new smile.
I hope this helps you
