Q. 4 times my front cap has been stuck back in over the last 11 weeks. Why wont it stay cemented in.

A. Usually when a crown keeps coming out there is a problem with the underlying structure that it is being attached to.  This occurs most often when a post crown has been made.  Post crowns are made when there is no other option due to the tooth being heavily broken down- the last effort to save the tooth !  If a post crown keeps failing it is often due to a fracture in the root , in which case the tooth needs to be removed and either a denture, bridge or implant used to replace the missing tooth.
