Can I get treatment for missing tooth on NHS?

hi, i have recently just lost most of my tooth, i still have the root and some tooth left in my gum, i was wondering if you could help me and tell the best way i still could have a tooth there and if it is available on the nhs as im not on benifits but i am on child tax credits, thank you for reading this,

Should I get ortho treatment with NHS or private dentist?

Hi there i was wondering if you could help me. I have recently started the process of orthadontic treatment. Im 22 years of age with an overbite. I recently saw a private orthadontist who advised me that i would need corrective jaw sugery to bring my top jaw back and move my lower jaw foward. But this would only be possible for me to do through the NHS rather than going private. I just want to know if i stayed with the private orthadontist and had my teeth straightened would i then be able to look in to having the sugery done?,

Is jaw pain caused by dental implants?

Can I get decaying molars crowned?

hi guys, i am terrified of the dentist! which is never a good thing, due to this every time i go to the dentist i get a tooth pulled!!!!!! i have two molars which have started to decay, and i have holes in them, but i cannot have them pulled out as it will be obvious! could i get them crowned? money isnt an object but i cannot loose these teeth! it is my fault but im so scared! thanks xx,

Is it normal that gum has not droped yet following veneers?

Is level of pain normal after root canal treatment?

I had route canal treatment on a broken toothe on 21/01/10 at 11am (There was no pain in the tooth prior to treatment). The procedure took 1hr. The morning of the 21/01/10 I awoke in very bad pain (7/10) and returned to the dentist 12.20pm. The dentist removed the top layer of temporary filling advising it must be rubbing the other teeth and causing the discomfort. The pain got gradually worse through the day and I went to bed at 8pm as the pain was so bad. I awoke at 11pm in extreme pain (9.9/10). I have taken 3 X ibruprofen and 2 X paracetamol. These have reduced the pain to a manageable level. Can this be normal? I never exaggerate pain and normally have a good threshold Thanks,

Can I get insurance for dental implants?

in June this year i was playing cricket and had my two front teeth knocked out, i am 29 years old and my dentist gave me options on what he could do for my teeth, i decided to have dental implants which as you are aware are very expensive and i had to pay some money out my own pocket. I play alot of sports and i have tried to find an insurance company that will cover my implants and teeth in case of future injury. I would very much appreciate your help on this matter.,

Hello Andrew,Im 31yrs of age and Im terrified of the dentist,I live in Scotland,Im getting married this year and,To put it bluntly my teeth are a disgrace,But im writing to ask would i be allowed just to get my 2 missing front teeth replaced 1st then go bck and get the rest of them done in due course,And wot would it involve,As im worried sick and dnt want any dentist poking around my teeth when im aware or awake please get bck to me asap would be greatly thankful,
